Whenever you need to feel more peaceful and at ease, you can wear or hold a larimar crystal to help you fight overwhelming energy. It’s a great stone to meditate with whenever our mind is overactive.
2. Peaceful and clear communication
Due to it’s pale blue/green color, Larimar is associated with the heart (green) and the throat (blue) chakra (depending on which color is more dominant on your larimar). Place the crystal on the chakra’s location as you meditate on it opening.
It can help you to be more clear about your heart’s intentions and speak your truth without feeling misunderstood. It is also useful to verbalize your emotions and can teach you how to speak from your heart without hurting people.

How to cleanse Larimar?
There are many ways to cleanse crystals. Larimar is a relatively soft stone that doesn’t like to be soaked in the water for a long time. You can rinse it in the running water or a stream.
You can also smudge it with your choice of smoke, for example, incense, sage, or palo santo. Some people like to bury their crystals in salt or soil to restore their power and connection with the earth.
How to charge Larimar
The charging process can be done in a few simple ways. One of the most common practices is charging crystals with the moonlight for a few hours at night. On a Full Moon place your Larimar outside or on a windowsill to soak it in the energy for the next lunar cycle. Similarly, you can do it with sunlight on a special day of your choice.
Other crystals can also power up your stone. Selenite is known for recharging the energies of minerals around it. Placing a chosen piece in a geode will also bring back its potency.
