Art has always been a mirror to our souls, reflecting our deepest emotions, desires, and anxieties. But it’s not just a passive observer; it’s a powerful catalyst, a brushstroke of change that can ignite revolutions and reshape our world. When art becomes conscious, when it transcends mere aesthetics and embraces intention, it becomes a bridge between our individual experiences and a collective awakening.
This conscious art isn’t simply about pretty pictures or catchy melodies. It’s art that pulsates with purpose, that confronts uncomfortable truths, and that dares to dream of a better tomorrow. It’s the poet’s pen scribbling against injustice, the painter’s brush weaving narratives of empathy, the musician’s notes echoing the cries of the unheard.
But why is conscious art so impactful? It’s because it touches us on a deep, emotional level. It bypasses our rational filters and speaks directly to our hearts, reminding us of our shared humanity. It ignites a spark of recognition, a sense of “yes, this is me too.” This shared experience creates a powerful collective consciousness, a tapestry woven from individual threads of emotion and understanding.
This collective consciousness is where the power of conscious art truly lies. It empowers us to move beyond apathy and into action. It compels us to question the status quo, to challenge norms that no longer serve us, and to envision a future where everyone thrives. It gives us the courage to raise our voices, to join hands, and to co-create a world that reflects the beauty and potential we see in the art itself.
Think of the street art that galvanizes communities, the protest songs that ignite revolutions, the documentaries that expose hidden truths and inspire reform. These aren’t just expressions; they’re catalysts for change, proof that art can move mountains and rewrite narratives.
But the power of conscious art isn’t just external. It also sparks change within each of us. It challenges our biases, expands our perspectives, and cultivates empathy. It teaches us to see the world through new lenses, to embrace the complexities of the human experience, and to find beauty in unexpected places. This inner transformation ripples outward, creating a generation of individuals empowered to be agents of positive change in their own spheres.
So, the next time you encounter art, don’t just admire its form. Feel its pulse, listen to its message, and let it awaken your own consciousness. Engage with it, discuss it, share it, and allow it to weave its magic into the fabric of your being. Remember, art isn’t just entertainment; it’s a conversation, an invitation, a catalyst for a brighter future. Let’s embrace its power and paint the world with the vibrant colors of conscious change, together.
This episode was energetically charged just like the art Jeanne Bessette creates! She gifted us with a LOT to think about moving forward into our collective future. It was an honor to have her on the show and I cannot wait until her new set is released!
Beginning – 5:30
AI art versus conscious art. Conscious art helps to raise the energy of the planet. We’re built to be creators and if you don’t think you’re creative, you’re just not getting in touch with the depth of yourself and the world you’re a part of. If we’re not creating, we’re consuming.
5:30 – 8:30
Getting stuck in your patterns. We are our greatest works of art. Sometimes it can be hard for us to let go of the pieces we’ve already used to sculpt ourselves and replace them with new pieces. Safety in familiarity and impostor syndrome can keep us stuck.
The multidimensionality of who we are. We’re living as an avatar that can be completely customized. Impostor syndrome becomes a non issue when you realize you’re already not who you think you are.
8:30 – 12:30
Addiction to suffering. Pain is inevitable, suffering is not. The archetype of the suffering artist. Art is a form of rebellion which led it to be suppressed by the powers at work in order to silence the power of art. The suffering state is not where the divine creates. We shouldn’t romanticize the suffering of artists.
12:30 – 18:30
Making money as an artist isn’t “selling out”. Healing the scarcity mindset and belief systems that keep us in poverty. There are countless forms of art that go beyond the paintbrush. Life itself is art and every single person has their own art form whether it be an obvious art modality or a not so obvious one. Being a mother is an art form, being an organizer, an architect, any form of existence can be cultivated as an art.
We should be encouraging children to find their art form. The trap of “artist isn’t a real job”. Finding success in such a field.
18:30 – 30:40
Recalibrating your path to align more with your dharma. The hole remains when we’re looking outside of ourselves for fulfillment of it. You have to fill your hole from within first.
How most of us didn’t have any options for spirituality outside the religion we were born into. Now that we have options and are free to explore the spiritual realm in a way that feels fitting to us, we can more easily find the connections we crave and bring that into our art form.
The labels we attach our identity to only separates and divides us from one another. The dogma of religion is discussed. Spirituality is a journey into the self.
30:40 – End
Conscious art activates the inner knowing of those who experience it and prompts them to release suffering and embrace joy. Unlearning our conditioning and remembering who we truly are. Everything’s alive.
We’re moving into this new earth that we don’t have words for. We have to do our best to find ways of explaining it that don’t do the depth and vastness of the subject justice. The holographic universe and how it’s already split. We just have to choose and bridge.

To create Conscious Art, nurturing and maintaining a higher frequency in my own life and when painting is needed in order to allow messages and channeling to come through.
I maintain a daily practice of meditation, divine inquiry and revelation to achieve this state of being. When I’m not creating works for clients, I teach and mentor others to live a more aligned and abundant life.
I’m raw, messy and real…. No fluffy toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing is allowed….
I prefer the deeper end of the pool and the places where signposts are absent because that is where life gets real and magic can exist.
And when the fit is right, I can use my arsenal of tools better to support others on their journey to their own alignment.
